OAHE DAYS 5K-10K FUN RUN: Saturday morning, June 21, 2008, with both races starting at 8:00 AM at the entrance to LaFramboise
Island. Registration will begin at 7:00 AM
at the picnic area in LaFramboise Island. This year's race will be a loop run on the scenic trails of LaFramboise Island
State Park. There will be a children's race for
kids under the age of 12 near the picnic area at the conclusion of the 5K-10K race. Registration will be $15 for all participants
in both races; no charge for children.
All paid participants will receive a t-shirt, water, refreshments and fruit at the race conclusion; medals for each age
group for men and women awarded after the race.

Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk will be held July 26, 2008.
HONKER 5K-10K-HALF MARATHON RUN: The Twelfth Annual Honker Run will be held on Saturday morning, September 27, 2008 at
the causeway near LaFramboise Island in Pierre, South Dakota with the half-marathon starting at 8:00 AM and the 5K/10K races
starting at 9:00 AM; registration will be at the picnic area on LaFramboise beginning at 7:30 AM; registration will be $15
per person, which includes t-shirts for all paid participants; children 12 and under are free; water, refreshments and fruit
will be served after the race; medals for each age group for men and women awarded after the race. For information or an entry

CAPITAL SPORTS TURKEY TROT: Thursday morning, November 27, 2008 at 9:00 AM; registration will be at 8:00 AM at the Pierre
Chamber of Commerce Building near the Discovery Center; registration will be $5 which will be donated to charity; refreshments

3RD ANNUAL PROPST MILE RUN: Thursday morning, January 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM, NO FEE, meet at the north parking lot of the Capitol
Building at the intersection of Broadway and Nicollette at 9:45 AM; this sprint race starts at the top of Euclid Avenue on
north side of Pierre and is all downhill.
